Our sled hockey program, established in 1999, is designed to open the sport of ice hockey to children and adults with mobility impairments including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, brittle bone conditions, and amputations. Our players' families are often on a tight budget because of medical and therapy bills, time lost from work, the cost of special equipment, the need for accessible housing, and the burden of long-term care. We are committed to keeping this program as inclusive as possible, and thanks to the generosity of our donors we are able to provide this unique opportunity to our community at no charge to our participants.
