About the New Jersey Devils Youth Hockey Club
There is no better place to play hockey than with the Junior Devils. We have the best youth coaches in the Northeast! Supervised by our Director John DiNorcia, our professional coaching staff has an impressive record. Our coaches have laced up skates with Division I Colleges, ECHL, UHL and European professional teams. They also have a remarkable number of coaching accomplishments, including USA Hockey National Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals; USA Hockey Junior Olympic Festival Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals; A Silver Sticks International Championship; and an International Quebec Peewee Tournament Championship.
Learn to Play
The focus of the Learn to Play Program is to teach beginner hockey players the fundamentals of skating. The program is designed for children ages 4-9, although it may be appropriate for other ages. No prior skating or hockey experience is necessary. As participants’ skating skill progresses, appropriate drills will introduce the players to fundamental hockey skills.
Full hockey equipment is required (approved helmet, hockey gloves, elbow pads, shinguards, chest protector, skates, and stick).
Players will receive a practice jersey.
